The Cambridge New Business Owners & Contacts file is a monthly new business hotline of approximately 100k new businesses that have registered with their state's secretary of state office to do business in that state. Those records include contact name, title, business name and business address. To ensure that this file is only populated with the actual contacts at these new startups, each record is run through proprietary processing to remove registered agent information as well as records that are not full time-businesses. Commercial and home-based businesses can also be identified and selected.

All of our files are built, updated and maintained by Cambridge in-house. Our proprietary data building means that we have many records and contacts that are unique to what you would find with the usual marketing data providers.

The records in the Cambridge New Business Owners & Contacts file are processed against the USPS National Change of Address File (NCOA) on a monthly basis. Our records are carrier route and ZIP+4 coded using the US Postal Service certified Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS). We also run our own proprietary data hygiene and quality control programs against all records before making them available to our clients.
